What is the Carolina Psychology and Neuroscience Ambassadors Program?

A new program on campus, the Carolina Psychology and Neuroscience Ambassadors Program is an ambitious program that aims to build community within the Psychology and Neuroscience department and connect undergraduate students to each other in a mentorship program. Additionally, the Ambassadors program employs students to represent the Psychology and Neuroscience department to the greater student body.

 

The Carolina Psychology and Neuroscience Ambassadors Program has four main goals:

  1. Diversify representation within the Psychology and Neuroscience department
  2.  Connect undergraduates to each other, graduate students, and faculty to each other to strengthen interdepartmental connections  
  3. Provide a strong network for undergraduates to access support and resources
  4. Establish a strong and lasting mentorship program to aid students in fulfilling their academic and career goals
